Together with VISA International payment system, Nordea Bank offers two one-of-a-kind insurance services — Purchase Security and Warranty Manager Service. These services are provided free of charge to all Nordea Bank VISA Platinum cardholders.
This programme offers cardholders protection from possible theft and product damage acquired with the card for a period of ninety days following the purchase. Registration of the insured purchase is not required for product purchase refund. Each refund is issued for the value of damage with a 50 US dollar deduction.
This programme offers cardholders an extension of the manufacturer warranty, if needed, for up to 24 months following the date of the insured purchase. The Warranty Manager Service is activated upon the expiration of any store or manufacturer warranties, but will not exceed 24 months beyond the date of the insured purchase. The Warranty Manager Service also covers insured purchases given to third parties as gifts.
