For the second year in a row Nordea is recognized as the best bank in the Nordics in the yearly Nordic Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) report. The Nordea Group’s disclosure scored 91 points (out of 100) in the Nordic Carbon Disclosure Project’s evaluation.
- We are pleased that our efforts to integrate CSR with business are recognized again. We do believe that we are on the right track, but are also confident that further opportunities remain to be utilised by us and our customers, says Liisa Jauri, head of CSR at Nordea.
The report is a tool for portfolio managers to identify whether companies in their corporate planning are taking into account environmental risks and to what extent they are open and transparent in their social reporting. In the opinion of the authors of the 2012 CDP report CSR matters in general and environmental issues in particular stand high among the priorities of all the members of the Nordea Group.
CDP works on behalf of 655 investors with assets of USD 78 trillion.
