OJSC Nordea Bank would like to inform on the working hours during New Year holidays (2-9 January 2012)

For Retail Customers

During the period from 2 January till 9 January 2012 will be non-business days for all branches of Nordea bank that provide services to retail customers.

On 30 December 2011 the Bank’s branch offices will render services to retail customers in accordance with the established working hours. We would like to point out that external cashless payments in Russian rubles will be accepted till 16.00, payments in USD and EUR – till 15.00 by Moscow time.

For Corporate Customers

With a view to provide trade on Russian financial market at the end of 2011 and on 3,4,5,6 January and 9 January 2012 Bank of Russia issued Letter No. 176-T dated 2 December 2011 regulating terms and conditions of operations to be held by Bank of Russia and credit institutions.

OJSC Nordea Bank took the decision to work on 3,4,5,6 January and 9 January 2012 to provide to Moscow corporate customers the opportunity to effect FX transactions at the rate of UTS MICEX, the Bank’s rate and individual rate, as well as to place deposits under the following contract formats:

  • General Terms of transactions on FX and money markets of OJSC Nordea Bank,
  • Agreement on effecting transactions on FX and money markets,
  • Master Agreement on general terms of placing funds by legal entities into the deposit “Special” in OJSC Nordea Bank.

On 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 January 2012 corporate customers will be serviced at the address: 3-ya ulitsa Yamskogo Polya, 19/1 from 10.00 till 17.00 (no cash operations will be carried out).

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that on 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 January 2012 from 10.00 till 16.00 settlement and payment documents to be done with current date will be accepted via Bank-Client system*, the documents that make possible effecting FX transactions and transfer of the received funds in the RF currency** after FX deals and in foreign currency under foreign trade contracts/loan agreements (passport deals) being serviced in OJSC Nordea Bank within the framework of open accounts and concluded bank account agreements. Any other settlement and payment documents will not be accepted for execution, as well as no deposits according to “Term deposit agreement” will be placed.

Corporate and retail banking services to retail customers on the specified dates will be not rendered, except cash transactions in cash desk offices located on the territory of Corporate Customers. These operations will be carried out according to the list approved for each operating cash desk.

**transfers in the RF currency will be only effected in OJSC Nordea Bank (Moscow) and credit institutions being serviced in Branch №1 in GTU (the Regional Branch) of the CB RF for the City of Moscow, Main Territorial Department of Bank of Russia and Bank of Russia Fisrt Operations Division.
