Opening an account

  1. Enquire at any branch office about opening a Nordea Bank account.
  2. At the office, you will be required to fill out an application for opening an account, Bank customer questionnaire and sign a Bank Account Contract. You must have the following documents:
    • Federally recognised form of ID, such as passport for foreign citizens, internal or travel passport for Russian citizens, etc
    • In addition, non-resident foreign individuals must present a migration card — a document that confirms a foreign citizen or stateless person’s right to reside within the Russian Federation and
    • Other documents in accordance with Russian federal and Bank of Russia legislative acts.

      Any document sent to the Bank and fully or partially executed in any language other than Russian is accepted by the Bank only on the condition that such document is accompanied by its translation into Russian and such translation is duly certified pursuant to the procedure envisaged by applicable Russian law.
  3. Upon signing of the contract, the bank will open an account in the indicated currency for the customer.
