Using the service

Sending a money transfer

  1. Visit a Nordea Bank office.
  2. Present an accepted form of ID.
  3. Fill in an application form by indicating the amount of transfer, the beneficiary and the destination point.
  4. Deposit the amount of transfer and fee in US dollars or Russian roubles.
  5. Get a receipt containing a ten-digit check number (this number should be communicated to the beneficiary).
  6. Notify the beneficiary of the expected transfer.
  7. A money remittance fee is charged at Western Union rates according to the amount to be sent.

Receiving a money transfer

To receive a money transfer, it is necessary to know the amount of transfer, the sender’s full name, the sending point as well as the check number of transfer.

  1. Visit the nearest Nordea Bank office.
  2. Present an accepted form of ID.
  3. Fill in an application form by indicating the sender’s full name, the country and city where the transfer was sent from, the amount of transfer and its ten-digit check number.
  4. Receive your money.

Take care of safety of your money transfers

  • never report check number of transfer or any other information on transfer to anybody except for a receiver;
  • never transfer money using fictitious name of a receiver;
  • keep a receipt together with check number (in Russia check number is compulsory to receive money transfer;
  • be careful with money transfer services to pay Internet shopping or on-line auction purchases, or to pay for taxes and fees on foreign lottery winnings;
  • never sent money to strangers;
  • if there is a call to you requesting to sent money for emergency care to your loved ones, you should call your relative to be assured he/she is need help.
