Nordea Bank offers combined bank cards (with a microprocessor – the chip) of Visa and MasterCard Worldwide international payment systems, which provide similar services and have a huge network accepting bank cards all over the world.

Advantages for payroll customers

  • Holders of Nordea Bank payroll cards can apply for a card overdraft, a short-term loan on future wages.
    The overdraft is a free bank service and funds are issued without fees.
  • Using the Nordea Bank payroll card, cardholders can withdraw cash in roubles free of charge from any Nordea Bank ATM, as well as Nordea Group ATMs in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland and the Baltic countries.
  • You can withdraw cash at discounted rates, as well as top up your card account and make payments to service providers at cash points and ATMs of the United Settlement System (ORS).

Depositing funds on bank cards

  • You can top up your card account by making deposits at tellers in any of our branches, as well as in bank ATMs with the cash-in function.
  • You or any authorised person may deposit funds at Nordea Bank branches. As required by federal legislation, third persons may require notarised authorisation or permission by Bank's employees.
  • You may also top up your account by transferring funds from another bank for a relevant fee, or at service points of the United Settlement System (ORS)


Expense monitoring

Our comprehensive software offers you various methods to monitor card account cash flow:

  • Control the card account status by means of Mobile Bank, Online Bank Cards or Nordea Online Remote Banking services.
  • Receive card transaction reports for any time period by e-mail, fax or printed statement at any branch office of the Bank upon demand.
  • Receive monthly statements covering all account transactions over the past month. Statements are issued no later than the tenth day of the subsequent month as requested by the customer: by e-mail, post or fax.
  • Account balances of card accounts can be received by calling +7 495 921-21-01 or 8 (800) 200-34-77.


You can apply for Nordea Bank cards in the following formats: Visa International (Russian roubles, US dollars and euro) and MasterCard Worldwide (Russian roubles and US dollars).

You can choose one of the Bank’s branches (in any region of the Bank’s presence) that best suits you in terms of obtaining the card and its further maintenance (please, indicate such branch in the application for issuance and maintenance of banking cards). If needed, you can later select another branch for delivery and maintenance of re-issued cards (in this case, please, submit the Bank a relevant application not later than the 1st day of the month when the card expires).
